The Irish Heritage Club is a non-profit, non-political,
non-religious organization that organizes and promotes
activities of an Irish cultural nature in the Greater Seattle
area, the State of Washington, USA. These activities
include performances of Irish music, Irish dancing,
Irish language, Irish history, Gaelic games, and cultural
exchanges with our Sister City of Galway, Ireland. We
also sponsor concerts, plays, lectures, movies, parties and other social events.

SEPTEMBER 13 - BEACH PARTY – Members and guests are invited to join Irish Network Seattle on Friday September 13, at the Mt Baker Sailing and Rowing Center, 3800 Lk Washington Blvd S, Seattle, for their 2nd Annual Party by the Beach. The party kicks off at 7 pm with a VIP hour that includes whiskey tasting, cocktails & light appetizers. The main party starts at 8 pm and includes dinner, some drinks, live music and dancing. Pre-registration and advance ticket purchase is required at IrishNetworkSeattle.org.
A Rose for Danny SEPTEMBER 14 - IRISH THEATRE GALA – The Irish Heritage Players hold a Fundraising Gala on Saturday, September 14, 6-9 pm, at Banchero Hall, 101 W. Lee St, on Seattle’s Queen Anne hill. The event is to raise funding for the March, 2014, production of a 3-act Irish/American play called A Rose for Danny which was written by local playwright Kevin Moriarty. The play at the Seattle Center’s Theatre 4 will be an official Irish Week 2014 event. At the September 14 event there will be hors d’oeuvres, no-host beer & wine, Irish dancing, and a mini-auction, and a $25 donation is requested. Or contact email@example.com or 206-354-9418 for more details.SEPTEMBER 28 - COLUMB'S BOYS - Maurice Fitzpatrick will present his documentary film, ‘The Boys of St Columb's’, at the University of Washington in the Walker-Ames Room in Kane Hall (i.e., Kane 225), at 7pm on Saturday, September 28. The film (and his book of the same title) covers the story of St Columb's, the small Catholic high school in Derry, Northern Ireland, which has among its graduates Seamus Heaney (poet, playwright, and recipient of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Literature), John Hume (politician and recipient of the 1998 Nobel Peace Prize), Brian Friel (playwright, “Translations”, etc.), Seamus Deane (poet, author, and Professor at the University of Notre Dame), Martin O'Neill (Glasgow Celtic manager), Bishop Edward Daly (“Bloody Sunday” in Derry in 1972), Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland Sir Declan Morgan, singer & songwriter Phil Coulter, etc. It’s an extraordinary roster of accomplished graduates of a single school and the documentary follows the lives of eight of the school’s graduates. More details later.SEPTEMBER 28 - IRISH SENIORS LUNCH – The Irish Immigrant Support Group has scheduled another Irish Senior Luncheon at the Wilde Rover Irish Restaurant in Kirklandat noon on Saturday, September 28. Call 425-290-7839 or email Seniors@irishclub.org for more information.OCTOBER 25, MASS OF REMEMBRANCE - At 7:30 PM on Friday, October 25, a Mass of Remembrance in the Gaelic language will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, 2702 Broadway Ave E (just off I-5 at Roanoke St), Seattle. Mass booklets in English and Gaelic are made available for all in attendance. All hymns and readings are in Gaelic with only the Homily in English. This Mass commemorates the deceased members of Seattle's Irish community, especially those who have passed away in the previous 12 months whose names are read out during the General Intercessions. Click for $29 tickets which include scarf - Use Passcode IRISH OCTBER 27, IRISH NIGHT AT THE SOUNDERS - Irish Night at the Seattle Sounders is being planned for Sunday evening, October 27, for the Sounders vs. the LA Galaxy. The Galaxy's star player is Robbie Keane, captain of the Irish international soccer team. Irish Night tickets are $29 each and include a special Irish Night scarf for the first 300 online purchasers! The 300 seats are reserved in the Hawk's Nest section in the north end zone of CenturyLink Field. Singer, pianist, and composer Tríona Ní Domhnaill is considered to be one of the most influential female vocalists in the history of Irish music. NOVEMBER 9, IRISH GLASS EXHIBITION - Róisín de Buitléar is Ireland's best known glass artist. Plan to meet Róisín on Saturday, November 9, during her Caution Fragile!
