The Irish Heritage Club is a non-profit, non-political,
non-religious organization that organizes and promotes
activities of an Irish cultural nature in the Greater Seattle
area, the State of Washington, USA. These activities
include performances of Irish music, Irish dancing,
Irish language, Irish history, Gaelic games, and cultural
exchanges with our Sister City of Galway, Ireland. We
also sponsor concerts, plays, lectures, movies, parties and other social events.
Irish Week is our name for the various events leading up to Seattle's celebration of St.
Patrick's Day in Seattle. We start in February with the Irish Soda Bread Cooking Class and
finish up with the Irish Festival at the Seattle Center. In between there is an Irish Genealogy
Conference, a Soda Bread Contest, the Matt Talbot Dinner, the Irish Week Mayor's Proclamation / Irish Seniors' Luncheon, the
Laying O' The Green Stripe, the St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Friends of St. Patrick Banquet.
All the details and more can be found at IrishWeek.org.
