This annual fund-raiser
for the downtown Seattle program
for the homeless raised almost $30,000 last
year and we hope to do the same or more in 2009, while also enjoying good food and good company, and having some good Irish fun!

The Irish Heritage Club received the Corporate Citizen Award at the
2001 Matt Talbot Dinner. Mary Shriane receives the award from Bishop George Thomas.
INFORMATION ON THE MATT TALBOT CENTER
The Matt Talbot Center began in 1985 as a "drop- in" facility and has evolved into a place for those in the Greater Seattle Area who are serious about living drug and alcohol free. Matt Talbot Center "Members" are provided with the tools and opportunities to come in from the streets to restore productivity and self-sufficiency to their lives, and to re-establish relationships with their families.
Our mission is to help restore participants to healthy lives, and to encourage them
to take responsibility for their actions and family obligations. MTC treats “members”
holistically, recognizing that each of them has individual needs for physical, mental
and spiritual healing.
Transitional housing is available to qualified members in Traugott Terrace, 50 clean & sober, fully supported apartment units, in addition to:
